Extra-Curricular Feather is highlighting Winter Guard with sponsor Jamie Arnold. Winter Guard has spent the Fall semester working on movement basics including Jazz Walk, Jazz Run, Tondu, Plié, Chassé, Sauté, and more. We also worked on flag basics including presents, flats, and slams, drop spins, stirs, and front backs. Next semester we will be working on learning weapon basics on rifle and possibly Sabre. In the Spring semester the Winter Guard will be working on a competitive show. This year we will be competing with two teams for the first time in Cherokee history, Cherokee Red and Cherokee White, due to the growth of the program!
Students who missed their biology EOC or part of their math EOCs should report to room 402 for makeup testing immediately – right now.
Semester Exams info: Consult with your teacher about being exempt from the final. Remember that if you are not exempt, your attendance will count toward your yearly totals. And, semester finals count 20% toward your final grade.
