It's that time of year again, time to pre-order your 2025-26 SMS Yearbook. There are two ways to purchase, send the order form with payment (cash or check) to school with your student or online. All checks must be payable to Surgoinsville Middle School. Orders are due by March 2nd.

District Announcement: Hawkins County Schools will continue to be closed on Thursday, February 5 and Friday, February 6, due to unsafe secondary roads. Although the recent rain and warming temperatures have helped improve some of the road conditions, 80-85% of our secondary routes remain unsafe for bus travel. Due to warming temperatures and sunshine forecast over the weekend and into next week, we aim to open schools and run buses on clear routes beginning Monday. Thursday night was 8th grade night and held a lot of emotions for all. We are so proud of these Eagles and all they have accomplished throughout their time at SMS. We can't wait to cheer them on in all their future endeavours. We would like to extend a special thank you to all the coaches, staff, and families that help to give our Eagles the very best!
